| The purpose of this course is to acquaint beginning students with the field of networking and teach them entry-level tasks: to pull cables and to plan, design, install, operate and troubleshoot Ethernet and Internet protocol networks. | Emphasizes overall security network infrastructures, including understanding of security and mitigate threats, securing Cisco routers, and implementing AAA authentication, authorization and accounting. This course also emphasizes the implementaiton of secure network management, Cisco IOS firewall, IOS IPS and site-to-site VPNs. Prerequisite: CCNA |
